This is my first Dollhouse vid and as much as I wanted to start with a Paul&Mellie vid I just couldn't find the right song so I made this one while I search.
(and I decided to save the kind offer to do beta from mfirefly10 for Paul&Mellie vid :) )

I made this vid very fast (for my standards...lol) and played a lot with effects...and I'm not sure that was a good thing...but, there is only one way to learn.

This one being my third dark and depressive vid, I just wanted to finish it and move on to something light and happy :D but then I remembered Mourn the Fallen challenge at ATS...lol

Sometimes I feel so stupid. After using Vegas for almost two years, NOW I discovered how to set some things that were bothering me all that time.

The problem was that each footage comes in different dimensions so I had to set different kinds of projects in Vegas. Sometimes it all looks good from the start and I can see the same picture both in trimmer and on the timeline, but sometimes I got a different view, with horizontal, vertical (or both) black bars even when the project is set in same dimensions as the source.

Finally got some time to watch it and all I can say is WOW!!!
Same thing happened (as always) when I have no hope a show would be any good - I'm always wrong...lol

OMGTHISWASFRAKKINGAMAZING!!!

It was awesome...it was...orgasmic!
Well, considering that the foreplay lasted 4 years lol...it's one unforgettable moment to finally, FINALLY (to some point)understand "what had happened before".
I had to watch it twice just to grasp all the things Sam (oh, Sam...) and Ellen (fraking amazing!) were explaining, and then let all the pieces of the puzzle settle down.
And after everything I'm speechless...Its getting better with each ep and this one is the best example why I LOVE this show! SQUEEE!!!

Best moment: Boomer..."I'm forgiving you." and "Who would I wanna love?!"

My disappearance for the past few days has a very simple explanation.
We got a new computer and even though it was assembled in one day it took few more days to experiment with various OS in order to find the one that would make Sony Vegas work the fastest.

Other than this flu and chronic BSG addiction, light case of Prison Break obsession (that is currently under control ;)), now I think I "caught" another one. I'm such a sucker for Helo/Sharon story like love stories. And for this new obsession I have agathons_fan to thank for :)
It all started with one song (really, really good one so I'm giving a link in case anyone wants to check it out) and then I did some searching for screencaps (just as a material to make a present), watched almost a whole movie (in caps) while doing that, then watched the movie itself and now I'm hooked...I'm at the end of the third book ...*headdesk* ..and I have the right song for a vid...
Heh, what can I say...I love Twilight!

Hi everyone :)
I'm new at LJ and this community too. I've been into vidding for two years now but I haven't made many of them. The vid posted here I made after a long (much needed) pause which I had to have so I could finally learn more about Vegas (I'm Vegas 8 Pro user) and editing in general.
Format of this vid is 4:3. Right after I uploaded it to YT it switched to widescreen... Ah, well...I hope they will fix that so older vids can be watched without those big black bars on each side...
