New fandom

Other than this flu and chronic BSG addiction, light case of Prison Break obsession (that is currently under control ;)), now I think I "caught" another one. I'm such a sucker for Helo/Sharon story like love stories. And for this new obsession I have agathons_fan to thank for :)
It all started with one song (really, really good one so I'm giving a link in case anyone wants to check it out) and then I did some searching for screencaps (just as a material to make a present), watched almost a whole movie (in caps) while doing that, then watched the movie itself and now I'm hooked...I'm at the end of the third book ...*headdesk* ..and I have the right song for a vid...
Heh, what can I say...I love Twilight!

And I don't want to hear anything bad about it :)
Yes, I know it's young adults book and movie too???, it's simple, predictable and who-knows-what-else people (who hate it) like to ramble about, but I like it.

Why?
I think after reading so many "serious" books and after watching so many "serious" movies and series, after going trough so many phases, I just want to immerse myself in something so beautiful and fantastic like this love story is. Also, I've always been a passionate fan of Jane Austen's books as well as all books by Bronte sisters so it's no surprise that I'm enjoying these so much.
It's simple as that *shrugs*

(and no, I'm not going to become one of those screaming-for-Robert-Pattinson's-haircut kind of fans..heh..but I really like those two songs in Twilight soundtrack. Too bad there's not much more.)

Let Me Sign is a great song. I wasa surprised by how much I liked Rob Pattinson's songs. I am also not one of those screaming-for-Robert-Pattinson's-haircut kind of fans, but I think he did a good job in the movie and has good songs. I like Let Me Sign better then the other one, but they are both good.

I too am very attracted to love stories - forbidden love - like these and I do find many similarities between Bella/Edward & Helo/Sharon. Im so glad to have a nothing obsessed Twilight flister :D *hugs*

I'm so obsessed that I kind of lost 2 days reading the books (finished, finally) and vidding. (Check your inbox 'cos I'm having some problems and I really need your help)
It's really funny how obsessions start and in my case it's all upside down..lol, but I think it was the first book that really did it for me.

And as for the music, the funny thing is I usually don't pay any attention to actors or directors names at all. I watched the whole BSG twice before I even noticed the names of the actors lol. Same thing with this movie. But I do pay some attention to names of the bands and singers and so I knew the name from the playlist but never connected the dots. I even tried to find some other albums and songs 'cos that's what I usually do when I like one song. It wasn't until I checked imdB that I realized it's the same name and just couldn't believe it (and I still can't connect the voice with the face too).
