:D My first competition and my first (gorgeous and shiny) award.

I don't know what to say, except that I never expected to win anything so this came as a complete and pleasant surprise!

And, I have one more pretty award graphic I just have to show - It's BSG ;) and very appropriate for genre contenders don't you think (or any contenders :) ).

I submitted 3 of my vids and Dust in the Wind is listed as a contender for Drama, Bodies for Horror and Kung-Fu for Comedy/Crack :)

Most of the vids I liked (and I watched all 95 of them) won something but there are a few surprises...
Anyway, I'm reccing a few,...well, more than just a few :) of my personal favourites here and I'll keep my comments short. Some of them won the awards, some not, and some won different awards that I thought they would. All things considered it was a really tough competition and I think the judges did their best.

My fav, and I admit on being biased..lol, didn't win anything :( and I have no idea why. I guess it may be hilarious just to BSG fans but I think it deserved an award anyway just for being so incredibly cute and funny (not usually the qualities you'd associate with BSG) :)

I've seen he next one here on LJ.
This vid won the award for Best Comedy, and believe me it's very well deserved ;)

Another comedy that fascinated me although I never watched Doctor Who. I thought it would win Best Editing or Best Comedy award too but Best character recap is good too :)

Next one I absolutely LOVED! Amazing song and editing...I expected it to win at least Best atmosphere award, if not Music use or Editing, but Best in Show - Supernatural is what it got.

This one I admit watching at least 10 times and I still can't catch all effects used. let's just say it's one of the best examples of effect use in fanvids. Won the award for Best TV trailer.

Supernatural TV Promo - I can't breathe by Kristinn Harris

I loved this one too. It starts a little slow but by the end of it I was laughing like crazy and now I have to see that show. It ended up as a contender in 3 categories.

I am a Scientist (Tenth Doctor) by Di - contender for Music Use but it's an excellent comedy.

This one is sad but beautiful to watch, and the music is just captivating.
