CJA vidding awards & one vid rec

Finalists of round 2 are out! Those people really work fast.
There are 96 of them and I'll be over there watching them all...'cos I KNOW they are all excellent ....and I'll try to guess which one will win ;)

Let's say this is the first competition that I dared to submit any of my vids (the first one being Vidorama comm that is closed now) and all 3 (to my big surprise!) passed.

I'm a happy vidder now :D

(and I don't expect to win anything - just to get some incentive to continue vidding and become better in it ;) )

One vid that I'm sure would win just about everything at CJA isn't there :( ...so I have to rec it :)
This one would surely kick up standards even more, so.... for all of you that haven't seen it yet....GO! GO! GO!...NOW!

I was poking around at CJA and took a look at a few that were in the same categories as mine. I loved your Kung Fu Fighting vid, and I know nothing about Twilight! I loved the beginning and the ending best. It had this dream-like quality that's scary, yet went so well with the quirky song I grew up with in the 70's. I loved it a lot more than the comedy/crack vid I entered....

Strong entry. Congrats!

Thanks! I grew up to that song too ;) and combining that with (oh so serious&romantic) Twilight was so much fun.

I'm nearly done watching all vids listed at CJA but I don't see your lj name there?
I have 10 or so more to see and so far it was a real pleasure to watch - they are all very, very good!

I know :D And it looks so professional and above all clever! The author used the essence of both shows (which would be conflict with our own creations-machines), applied Darwin's theory and by doing so painted a glum and pessimistic picture of our future. Wish I could make one like that!

TSCC is a good and interesting show but BSG is basically (dark)drama (and the best sf show so far!). People who are not into sf are usually reluctant to give it a try but once they do they are hooked ;) Just saying...

Oh, you are making me guess...but I 'm sure now (same site ;) )
I really like Welcome to the Jungle!! It simply flows with the music and that's something I admire so much in other vids, and I still need a lot of practise to learn how to do it. And the way you used motion...ah...only other vidders can understand what I'm talking about...Anyway, I think it's great :)
And I love your icon!
